Australian Work Visa

In order to work in Australia, it is essential that one first applies for an Australian visa. Some people who would want to obtain a work in Australia visa are:

In order to obtain a visa, people must first visit http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration/. There, one can find the necessary forms to fill out and file in order to obtain the visa he/she needs. One may file online, or fill out each form by hand. There is also a visa web wizard that allows users to pick and choose their needs for a visa, making it easier for them to fill out the correct forms.

There are two different types of visas that one may want to apply for. The first being a temporary visa, which allows the applicant to work in Australia for a limited amount of time, be it weeks, months, or years. A permanent visa allows workers who would fulfill full time positions that could not be billed by the Australian workforce. Generally, the process can take anywhere from 1 to 12 months to receive a visa.
